Yay, at last the wings are up and working! They open and close, and you can stop them at any point of movement, too, from a small switch. We have made a short film of them in operation, which I will attach a link to as soon as it is posted. It's taken us years of research and development, mostly done in our "spare" -hah!... time and whenever we could. We are now planning on making another three sets for a possible dance/aeriallist film. The next set will be for a stiltwalker, though, who will be coming for a fitting this week, so will post a pic of him in his white and rainbow wings as soon as they are on him. Due to a massive plan change, I am now making working wings. That is, I am making the feathers, and my partner is making the mechanics. They'll be up on the net by the end of the year. Life is being strange and a bit heavy so it is great to have something so beautiful to work on. Sold one painting, two bronze sculptures and three bits of things half way between the two at last exhibition, yay!!
